Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Robot Eyes for the Army. DESCRIPTION: SD1 Drone System, the Army’s latest enemy-spotter, needs only a light platform for launching. It’s a radio-controlled pilotless aircraft, being prepared for its first public demonstration at Larkhill. In less than a second, it reaches 140 miles an hour. Its flying speed of about 200 knots make it a difficult target. These new robot eyes are now in service with the Royal Artillery. SHOTLIST: Key scene. (2 shots) plane being assembled.
