Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Hyde Park Corner Improvement. DESCRIPTION: With the under-pass at Hyde Park Corner virtually completed, the whole project moves into its final stages. This will be the last time this giant grab bites the earth here in the scheme to beat one of London’s most pressing traffic problems. The 2-way tunnel will be 70 feet deep in some places, and there’ll be heating coils to keep ice off the road. SHOTLIST: MS workmen in tunnel.
