MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Nurses Protest March. DESCRIPTION: Some 10,000 nurses came to Trafalgar Square in London, to demonstrate support of their pay claim. Many carried banners expressing disgust at the Government’s 2 1/2 per cent pay offer. It was the biggest gathering of nurses ever seen in Britain. SHOTLIST: CU of nurses’ faces.
