- Summary
- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Wings With a Difference. DESCRIPTION: Introducing Britain’s first jet-powered executive aircraft, the De Havilland 125. Powered by 2 rear-mounted Bristol-Siddeley jets, it’s designed for the boss who wants to go places with speed and comfort. There’s room for him and 7 of his secretaries. The price: £150.000. For the lower-income brackets, here’s a French fold-away 2-seater plane with obvious advantages, hitch your plane to a scooter and you’re one up on the caravan fraternity. Monsieur Miguet, who built it, named it the Flying Flea. It cost him about £150 to build. With a speed of 60, it uses less than a gallon and a half of fuel an hour. SHOTLIST: Key scene.
