Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: The 24 Hours of Le Mans. DESCRIPTION: There were 49 starters in this year’s Grand Prix d’Endurance, the only race of its kind in the world. And endurance it is, driving for 24 hours! The Italian Ferraris took the first 6 places, and the gas-turbine Rover BRM, driven by Graham Hill and co-driver Ritchie Ginther, gained a special award.
