MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: America Retains the Ryder Cup. DESCRIPTION: Pictures show the three days of foursomes, four ball matches and singles which make up the Ryder Cup, played at Southport’s Royal Birkdale Cup. Prime Minister Harold Wilson presented the trophy to Byron Nelson, the American captain. They won by eighteen matches to eleven with three halved. SHOTLIST: GV clubhouse and players on 1st tee.
