MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Tony Jacklin Wins US Open. DESCRIPTION: British golfer Tony Jacklin wins the United States Open Championship in a superb golfing demonstration. He’s the first Englishman to win since 1920, and the first man to double it with the British Open since the great Ben Hogan. SHOTLIST: GV Jacklin drives off, pan with ball to landing on green near hole. 3 SVs pan Jacklin walks onto green, Jacklin putts & just misses, Jacklin putts successfully - picks up ball & walks away. GV Jacklin driving, pan with ball. LV ball bounces onto 18th green. 2 GVs crowds around final hole. Jacklin onto green - crowd applaud. LAS Jacklin makes final long putt - sinks ball at 86’. Crowds up and applaud. 1st section - this game. 2nd section - different game.
