MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Packaging Exhibition. DESCRIPTION: Packaging’s a multi-million pound industry. On show at Olympia recently the latest machines for packaging, parcelling, filling and labelling a wide variety of products. A comprehensive wrap-up. SHOTLIST: CU machine working. SV pan ditto. CU pan labelling machine. Full CU ditto. GV of the exhibition. LV pan down cakes being put into the Hermetine 400 special machine for packaging & sealing. 4 CUs cakes going through machine for sealing. Cakes out of machine the other end wrapped & sealed. Pan tubes being sealed in GA30 machine. Tubes emerging from machine. SV pan the Hunter folding box gluer machine. CU hand taking away folded boxes. GV the Foliomat master packer. CU package being sealed at top. Back V package entering shrink tunnel & door drops down to seal off. SV door lifts up at other end & package emerges. CU operator. SV showing large package sealed tightly, shrink wrapped. Man operating (SV) automatic package typing machine.
