MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: International Horse Show. DESCRIPTION: The Royal International Horse Show held at Wembley - the King George VI Gold Cup won by Paddy McMahon riding Pennwood Forge Mill. SHOTLIST: GV Dohlus No 7 (ridden by Ferdie Tyteca) for Belgium jumping wall and the water jump at which he gets 4 faults (feet in water on landing). SV Hideaway No 21 ridden by Harvey Smith jumping fence and last fence, he makes 8 faults. SV No Reply No 30 (ridden by Stephen Hadley) jumping wall and water jump, he makes 4 faults. LV pan Easter Parade No 37 for Ireland ridden by Eddie Machen jumping 3 fences, he makes 4 faults. GV zoom in as Pennwood Forge Mill No 41 ridden by Paddy McMahon starts to jump clear round. SV jumps another. SV Smith watching with others. SV pan Pennwood jumping fence, he jumps last fence to make a clear round. LV crowd applaud. LV Antrieb No 43 ridden by Jan Heins for Holland jumping wall and water jump (clear) zoom into water. GV Grebe No 61 ridden by Peter Robeson knocks fence down at 142’, total 4 faults. SV crowd watching. SV pan Torphy No 86 for Germany ridden by Hans Winkler jumping fence, he jumps last fence to make clear round. SV Pennwood making clear round in jump off. SV crowds watching. SV pan Pennwood jumps last fence to make clear round. SV pan McMahon on horse. SV zoom back as Torphy No 86 jumps last fence and knocks it down making 4 faults losing jump off. SV pan Queen presenting King George VI Gold Cup to McMahon. Ditto zoom out to GV all competitors lined up before Queen.
