Summary
COI synopsis: Scientific and technological progress is self-defeating unless accompanied by increases in safety. This week, we look at examples of this progress aimed precisely at increasing the most important safety margin of all - human life. All the protection of a car canopy - around a two-wheeled motorcyclist! And the result is more speed, better road-holding and vital extra protection for the rider.
