Summary
NoS Summary - An elderly man feeds sparrows in the park
British Pathe synopsis: "Birds have little fear of human beings - once kindness is evident." L/S of elderly man walking in a park holding out food for the birds. Little birds come and perch on his hand. He approaches the camera then stands still as the birds eat from his hand. "When they know you these sparrows are the most friendly little things in feathers." Various shots of the man feeding the birds. He holds out his hand and they perch on his fingers. C/U of his hand as the birds come and take food from it. "See how they go to his hand - each in its turn." Food is thrown to a group of birdies sitting on a metal gate. They all fly around trying to catch the food.
