British Pathe synopsis: "A favourite river sport is the run on light racing hydroplanes - 12 to 14 feet in length." L/S of various boats speeding across a lake. "Easily transportable, their 8 h.p. motors can propel them up to 28 miles an hour." M/S of man at quayside with his hydroplane. Another man stoops to talk to him. C/U of the motor on the back of the boat. Various shots of the hydroplanes racing each other. "On water more than anything you get the thrill of speed. Round she goes."
