BP Summary - The advantages gained by the change in tractor design whereby the farm implement is now an integral part of the tractor instead of being a separate machine.
NFA synopsis: A newly-designed tractor with a plough attachment is driven along a country road. Shot of tractor and plough attachment, being used on the land. In the old type of tractor, the peg pulling implement often broke if the implement stuck in the ground, the farmer has controls which lifts the plough out of the ground. Other advantages are that the farmer can back out and get to corners. Changing implements is shown. The tractor is shown with a mower implement cutting grass around trees. The tractor is then shown with a saw attachment and a trailor attachment. Lever shown by which the implement can be made to cut deeper if necessary. Final shots of farmers ploughing fields whilst commentary emphasises the importance of cooperation between the farmer and the engineer. - Keywords
