- Summary
- Rhodesian Spotlight synopsis: Sir John and Lady Weddington revisit Northern Rhodesia.
Rhodesian Spotlight Commentary - Two very good friends return to Northern Rhodesia, Sir John and Lady Waddington and they are staying with Mr and Mrs Stubbs in Lusaka.
Sir John Waddington was Governor of Northern Rhodesia from 1941 to 1947 and made many firm and lasting friendships. Mr W. F. Stubbs is Secretary for Native Affairs. Sir John was prominent in Northern Rhodesia’s war effort and received Their Majesties during their visit in 1947. It is with genuine warmth that we welcome them both back to the country they both served so well. - Keywords
