- Summary
- Babcock and Wilcox synopsis: Each year, the Renfrew works and London offices of Babcock & Wilcox, Ltd., compete in field events for the "Renlon" Cup. This year the contest was in London but Renfrew ran away with the cup. On the next day both teams and their supporters joined in a voyage along the upper reaches of the Thames by river steamer and after a peaceful and picturesque journey the party landed at Tagg’s Island to dance at the Casino Hotel, so ending a friendly occasion enjoyed by all from the first race to the last waltz.
