- Summary
- In the mountainous regions of Amba Alagi the last remnants of the Italian Army under the Duke of Aosta capitulate. At Fort Tosello when all the Italian troops have been collected, the Chief of Staff of the Garrison reads the Viceroy’s message of surrender. Then the Duke of Aosta, the former Viceroy of Ethiopia, reviews a parade of British troops before marching away for internment.
