We're thrilled to announce an exciting collaboration between Learning on Screen and the Educational Recording Agency (ERA). From October 2023 to August 2024, we're embarking on an innovative initiative which seeks to expand access to curated educational content on the Box of Broadcasts (BoB) platform - the Global Curated Playlists Pilot.

How To Effectively Curate Content For Your Offshore Students
About the Project
This pilot empowers educators and librarians to create Box of Broadcasts (BoB) playlists that can be accessed by offshore students, regardless of their location. In partnership with ERA, our primary objective is to better comprehend the educational needs of offshore students studying at UK universities. By making academically curated playlists accessible to students globally, we aim to enrich their learning experiences and eliminate geographical obstacles.

Who Can Participate?
This pilot is open to educators and librarians at UK higher education institutions (HEIs) holding an ERA licence and Learning on Screen membership with subscription to Box of Broadcasts. If you're passionate about equitable educational access, regardless of location, we invite you to join us.
What to Expect
By participating, you'll have the opportunity to:
- Create Curated Playlists
Craft educational playlists on the BoB platform, ensuring offshore students access high-quality, course-relevant content.
- Enhance Accessibility
Your involvement directly contributes to accessible educational resources for transnational students, including those in distance learning programmes, offshore campuses, and temporary overseas study.
- Shape the Future
Your feedback and participation help assess the demand for global access to curated content, shaping the future of educational access.
