- The Clifton Light Orchestra conducted by Reginald Redman and the BBC West of England Singers conducted by Joseph Jenkins perform Shakespeare-related music. The selection of performed pieces includes John Foulds’ ‘Henry VIII’, ‘Six Shakespeare Songs’ by Geoffrey Shaw, the Scherzo from Mendelssohn’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream, and Sullivan’s Mascarade from The Merchant of Venice.
