- Radio version of Dryden’s play (written in imitation of Shakespeare’s style) produced for radio by Peter Watts. Based on Shakespeare’s Antony and Cleopatra, Dryden’s blank verse take on the story focuses on the clash between the personal and political. In contrast to the original, the action is confined to one place only: the Temple of Isis at Alexandria.

- Announcing this production in The Radio Times, Val Gielgud, Head of BBC Drama, comments: "All for Love should make a most satisfactory radio play. In fact, had Dryden been adapting Shakespeare for the air he could hardly have done better. He has reduced the characters from forty odd to nine, and his action takes place in a single day."
