- Radio quiz show hosted by Clifton Fadiman. Listeners submitted questions and were paid two dollars if the question was used and five dollars if it stumped the panel of Franklin P. Adams, John Kieran, Heywood Broun, Russel Crouse and George S. Kaufman. One question about Shakespeare asked which quotation would be appropriate for the following ‘A nearsighted umpire’ (`Fair is foul and fouls is fair’). There were more quotations along these lines.
