- Synopsis
- A three-part series which spoofs Shakespeare’s plays in a modern setting. The first episode series includes the sketches ‘Taming of the Bitch’ - a marriage counsellor helps a young couple overcome their problems with the aid of an instructional video called, ‘How to Tame a Bitch’; ‘Queen Lear’- Lear, an ageing drag queen, recalls the events of his retirement party gone horribly wrong; and ‘Merchant of Venice’ - Shylock, a Jewish stand-up comedian, takes Antonio, a Mafioso businessman, to court. The subsequent two episodes ran in similar vein.
