- 3rd Division US Marines land on beach at Guam. First of the injured are carried back are men are still landing. Marines firing automatic weapons, advancing behind tanks through jungle. Firing mortars on the village of Sumai to flush out Japanese snipers. Marines leaving foxholes and Japanese dead. After the battle time for a cigarette and hoisting the US flag. Guam is back in US hands.
