Summary
First visit of the King and Queen to the Isle of Man. They are seen being welcomed at Douglas and Ramsay where they are presented with paintings of island scenes by the Governor Admiral Granville and Lady Granville who is the Queen’s sister. King presents war decorates and lays wreath on war memorial. The tour was rounded off by a visit to the Manx Parliament, the House of Keys.
