Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Lebrun at War Port. DESCRIPTION: The French President visits the BEF. SHOTLIST: Accompanied by M Campinchi, the President makes a tour of a French War harbour. During the visit he confers the Grand Cross of the Legion of Honour on Vice-Admiral de Laborde. They then board a scout which takes them round the line of ships which includes destroyers and the "Strasbourg". Lebrun With The BEF - CARD 38305 President Lebrun, accompanied by Lord Gort, makes a tour of the positions. He sees Bren Carriers, Bren guns and Predictors and inspects various regiments. Those regiments mentioned on the dope sheet are the Welsh Guards, The Gordon Highlanders and the Sherwood Foresters.
