Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Lieutenant Annand, VC. DESCRIPTION: South Shields honours Lt Richard Annand with Freedom of the City. Then in London he marries Miss Shirley Osborne. SHOTLIST: The VC arrives and is greeted on the steps of the town hall by the Mayor. Inside he is presented with the Freedom of the City of South Shields and a photograph of his batman. Later, in London, he is married to Miss Shirley Osborne who was escorted to the church by her father, Mr FB Osborne.
