- Coming up to eight o’clock on a cold, shivery morning. 230 veteran cars and drivers - Stirling Moss and Prince Rainier of Monaco amongst them - coaxed life into their ancient roadsters, and the 72nd annual RAC London to Brighton Veteran Car Rally was underway. Along the route there were a number of drop-outs, but the majority made it to the seaside.
