Summary
Tommy Docherty seemed to be the tonic that Aston Villa needed. In their Cup Tie match against Queen’s Park Rangers, (late of Docherty management), they wouldn’t take ‘no’ for an answer. It was a rough, tough, bruising match but Villa battled through to a 2-1 win in confident style.
