Summary
Pathe synopsis: It has been said that one of the pleasures of the Emperor Nero was to eat snow flavoured with fruit juice and honey while watching his gladiators do battle in Rome’s Coliseum. The modern equivalent is to eat ice cream in the cinema, but of course this delicacy has been developed a great deal since Nero’s time, and a lot of ingredients and ingenuity go into modern ice cream making.
