Summary
Pathe synopsis: Only a few miles from Balmoral lies Braemar, scene of the Royal Highland Gathering, traditionally attended each year by the sovereign. Although Highland music and dancing attracts a great deal of attention, the emphsis is on pysical strength: hammer throwing, tug-of-war, wrestling, and throwing the caber. Altogether a colourful as well as strenuous display.
