- Pathe synopsis: Sailing on the Thames is usually confined to Sundays, but at Bisham Abbey, near Maidenhead, it’s part of an all-action holiday. The Central Council for Physical Recreation organise holiday courses in a variety of sports from wrestling to ballroom dances. There’s no official Bisham ball-game - just take your choice from tennis, basketball, football, table-tennis and golf. You don’t have to be young to enjoy yourself here...
