MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Messages Home. B.417/D. DESCRIPTION: Through Movietone Staff Sergeant, Alf Lindsay, Driver Alex Hunt and Signalman Weaver were able to speak to their families. SHOTLIST: Cut story - Various shots of Fifth & Eighth Army troops marching along roads also shots of tanks. GS of camp with Staff Sergeant Alf Lindsay walking round tent to microphone. CU of him speaking to his people. GS of Driver Alex Burt, Scotsman, seated in lorry, windscreen has bullet hole in same. CU of him also speaking into mike. GS of Signalman R Weaver with some Italian kids. CU of him making speech.
