MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Famous Liners Take GIs Home. DESCRIPTION: The Queen Elizabeth leaves Greenock bound for America taking home GIs. Her sister ship the Queen Mary arrives in New York crammed with returning American soldiers. SHOTLIST: Cut story - KS. Port side of Queen Elizabeth. American troops embark on board liner "QE" at Greenock, out & into camera. Various shots of QE taken from all angles. Parts of the ship, sun-deck, etc. Bows with name on same.
