The Queen of Children’s Day, Mary Hannan, was crowned by the Lady Mayoress. SHOTLIST: Spectators at Roundhay Park. GV competitors in Healthiest Baby Contest. Winning babies being presented with silver spoons by Lady Mayoress, Mrs Beevers. Girls skipping race, boys obstacle, tug-of-war, various shots. Children parade round ground in fancy dress. Mass display of PT by girls and boys of Leeds schools. Girl chosen as Queen of Children’s Day, Lady Mayoress crowns Mary Hannan, shot of her seated on throne with attendants around.
