Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Peter Pan’s Hospital. DESCRIPTION: Children at the Great Ormond Street Hospital receive a visit from Wendy, Peter Pan and Nana, from the Christmas production of JM Barrie’s play. SHOTLIST: KS GV exterior of hospital. CU plaque around edge has ‘The Hospital for Sick Children, Great Ormond Street, London’. Interior - children patients all gather round bedside. Wendy enters (Diana Calderwood) and starts talking to children. Peter Pan (Mary Morris) stands at bottom of the bed. Nana the dog enters, dog strokes the children, not children stroking the dog. Various shots of them gathered round bed listening to Wendy telling a fairy tale. Wendy and Peter Pan leave, children wave. Cut-ins of children listening to Wendy.
