MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Exodus 1947 Illegal Ship Boarded. DESCRIPTION: The illegal immigrant ship Exodus 1947 was escorted into the harbour at Haifa after being boarded at sea by the Royal Navy. SHOTLIST: KS LS Exodus 1947 (formerly President Warfield) ship entering above, harbour in foreground. MS of Exodus 1947. GV British destroyer entering Haifa harbour. Various shots shows side of ship torn away, badly damaged by fighting. Shots of Jews on decks. Wounded immigrants carried ashore on stretchers, crowds look on. Carried along quay to another ship. Elevated shot of Judge Sandstrom and Mr Simitch, delegates of UNSCOP, looking on. Women immigrants have their belongings searched. Immigrants transferred to another ship en route to Cyprus. Immigrants walk up gangway.
