- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: AAA Championships. DESCRIPTION: In the Athletic Championships at White City, Tom White wins the 800 yards and MacDonald Bailey the 100 yards. SHOTLIST: KS MS pole vaulting. Start of 880 yards shots of the race in progress, Tom White races on to win from de Ruyter (No 10) of Holland. White winning (No 37) by a yard. Crowds cut-in. Start of the 120 yards hurdles, Donald Finlay (No 6) leads, is overtaken by Braekman (No 1) of Belgian who wins just beating him. Start of the 3 mile race. Various shots of runners. Lataster (No 18) of Holland lies fifth, moves up to take lead, as leading runners are round bend No 6 Cox falls to the ground. Lataster winning. Start of 100 yards MacDonald Bailey takes lead and makes easy win of same. Bailey runs off course shaking his head to finish. Cut-in of crowds.
