MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Grasshopper Plague. DESCRIPTION: A plague of grasshoppers has been causing incalculable damage in New South Wales, Australia. SHOTLIST: KS GV cornfield. SCU grasshoppers, thousands on ground feeding off green grass etc. Various shots of billions of grasshoppers flying the air, just masses and masses of them. CU grasshopper feasting on blade of course grass. Farmer walking through field playing flame-thrower on grasshoppers. Another walks through field spraying same with arsenic. Another sprays bran on ground. Several more shots billions of grasshoppers flying in the air, leaving trees barren, without any foliage etc.
