MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Naval Occasions - US Squadron at Bombay. DESCRIPTION: An American squadron recently made a goodwill visit to Bombay. SHOTLIST: KS US ships off coast framed through Gateway of India. LS Indian sloop Kistna firing salute. GV US ships, cruiser Toledo & destroyers USS Chevalier & USS Higbee. Indians wave as ships approach. Admiral’s launch approaches, Rear Admiral Roscoe Good alights, walks up steps onto quayside. Indians in fore look at US cruiser in background. Shots of Indians. US personnel disembark, walk along quayside. In city, one takes photograph of Gateway of India with Indian lad standing beside him.
