- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: London Bus Strike (Saturday). DESCRIPTION: At various London Transport Executive garages, buses, trams and trolley buses were driven in at one o’clock. Movietone interviews a bus driver and conductor asking them their views on the strike. SHOTLIST: KS Deserted bus stop. Trolley buses & trams run into depots, about one o’clock in the afternoon. Sign - chalk - buses suspended. Line of buses outside garage. Bus driver & conductor give their views about the strike. The following places deserted of buses, Piccadilly, Trafalgar Square, Lewisham Clock Tower, Oxford Street pan to Selfridges clock, pan back to Oxford Street. Crowds arrive, walking to Chelsea Football Ground. GV exterior gate of Chelsea Football Ground, Stamford Bridge.
