- Summary
- Munich: German troops, captured by Allies, are marched through the streets. GIs inspect Ehren Temple, the tombs of the first sixteen Germans to die for the Nazi regime. Air Chief Marshal Tedder in Berlin to sign ratification of surrender at Army School. The German delegates are: von Friedeburg, Field Marshal Keitel, Colonel General Stumpf. Keitel signs the surrender, then Stumpf, Marshal Zhukov for Russia, General de Tassigny for France, General Spaatz for America and Tedder for Britain.
