Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Princess With the Duke. DESCRIPTION: First pictures from Malta show Their Royal Highnesses looking out over the harbour and points of interest in Valletta. The Duke and Princess are staying at the residence of Vice Admiral Lord Mountbatten. SHOTLIST: KS. MS rooftops of town taken from balcony. Princess & Duke look out across harbour of Valletta. Destroyer "Chequers" in dry dock being refitted. Duke & Princess walks through the grounds of Villa Guardamangia (owned by Mountbatten). Several shots in grounds shows Duke looking at fruit trees.
