Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: British Floating Shop Window. DESCRIPTION: The luxurious motor yacht Northwind, off from Southampton on another trade mission in search of new markets for British goods. She carries export products from over fifty British firms. SHOTLIST: KS MS motor yacht taken from launch pulling away from former. Aboard motor yacht, below decks, various displays of British goods for export, viz, umbrellas, sheets, blankets, nylons, cosmetics, haberdashery etc. Girls trying on coats etc. Owner of yacht looks on. Cabinets of shoes, etc. On deck, women look at various woollens. Crew dressed in white jumpers. Leaving Southampton, motor yacht gets under way in the background can be seen the "Queen Mary", "Pretoria Castle" & several other ship lying in the docks.
