MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Mechanical Innovations for Industry. DESCRIPTION: A 90 Brake-horse-power Diesel provides the motive power for a novel form of transport. A single rail guides the train which runs on an easily constructed road only three foot wide. From Germany, a gigantic shovel-cum-loader, capable of dealing with 20,000 tons of open-cast coal a day. It needs only three men to operate the machine. SHOTLIST: Cut story - At Mayfield, Sussex, various shots of Brake Horse Power Diesel train. Various shots of same, taken from all angles.
