Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Berlin Battle for Sugar Ray Robinson. DESCRIPTION: Stormy scenes follow after Sugar Ray Robinson is disqualified for fouling the German Middle Weight boxer Gerhard Hecht in Berlin. SHOTLIST: Cut story - KS. SCU Ray Robinson. GV crowds around ring. Various shots of fight in progress, Robinson gives kidney punch, German Gerhard Hecht on canvas, in pain. German in his corner looking very sick. Second round of fight, again Robinson kidney punches & German down & out, in agony. Audience start to rebel against Robinson. Police escort Robinson away from wing.
