MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Records Go in AAA Championships. DESCRIPTION: A big crowd at the White City saw many new records set up. MacDonald Bailey fairly ran away with the 100 yards. The mile was won by Bannister, as was expected. The biggest thrill of the meeting was the three miles - Beckett beating Chataway by inches. SHOTLIST: Cut story - KS. Elevated GV stadium. Crowd shots - GV. Tosi of Italy throwing discus. CU of him. 100 yards race, MacDonald Bailey wins. CU of him. Start of the 1-mile race, Bannister takes lead & keeps it. Pan of Bannister racing. CU Bannister. Start of the 3-mile race, pan during race. Beckett (No 4) & Chataway (No 7) fighting it out to a finish. Chataway wins by inches.
