MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Atlantic Tragedy - Aircraft Carrier Wasp. DESCRIPTION: The US Aircraft-Carrier Wasp gets under way again after being in collision with the destroyer Hobson. The tragedy resulted in the loss of 174 lives, when the Hobson sank. SHOTLIST: Cut story - Various shots of the above aircraft carrier showing the jagged hole torn in her bows at the water-line. Helicopter lands survivors aboard Wasp.
