- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Duke Visits South Wales. SHOTLIST: Cut story - KS. GV Swansea Bay. Inside Mayor’s Parlour, signs book. Group - Mayor & Duke, & other officials inside. Leaving Town Hall. Drives through crowded streets, cut-in cheering crowds. Duke walks through crowds. Car arrives at hospital, nurses cheer, Duke turns & acknowledges cheers before entering. Interior - Duke stops & talks (silent) to several patients including ex-Mayor of Swansea. Next day, Duke arrives at Abbey Works, Margam, various shots of him going round, watching coke oven being emptied, board diesel engine loco, rides through works. Interior - arrives at Power Station, Duke turns on controls. CU hands turning wheel. Duke signs book. Workmen look on. In melting shops, Duke watches process through blue-glass.
