Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: England’s Five Goal Win (V Belgium). DESCRIPTION: At Wembley, England were at home to Belgium for the FA International; and the usual courtesies were exchanged before the start. After that, it was largely a question of English goals. SHOTLIST: Cut story - KS. Teams coming out. Two captains exchange flags. England kick off. England attacking. Elliott scores, ball appears to come off several Belgians before going into net. England attack again and score again through Lofthouse. 2nd half. General play. Elliott scores, ball going off Belgian centre half. England attacking, Finney takes free kick just outside penalty area. Redfern Froggatt heads ball into net. General play. England score fifth goal through Lofthouse.
