- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Youngest George Cross Hero. DESCRIPTION: Baker Street, Newthorpe, Nottinghamshire was the scene of a fire last October. The heroism of John Bamford in rescuing his brothers from the fire earned him the award of the George Cross. SHOTLIST: Cut story - KS. GV Hospital. Various shots of their houses which caught fire. Mrs Bamford, with her sons, Brian & Roy. Same look out of window from which rescue took place. GV hospital.
