Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Battle of Flowers. DESCRIPTION: This year Anna Neagle rode on one of the floats, in a procession which has become a holiday high-spot, on the island. The Carnival was first held in 1902, to celebrate the coronation of Edward VII. It took place every year until the war, to be revived in 1951.
